MINUTES OF THE VIDYALAYA MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON 14/12/2011
The combine VMC meeting of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 and No. 2 , Vasco was held at Kendriya Vidyalaya , No. 2, Vasco on 14/12/2001 at 1430 hours. The meeting was presided by the honourable Chairman Cmde Ravneet Singh, NM ,Commanding Officer, INS Hansa . The following members attended the meeting.

Dr. V P mishra , the host Principal welcomed the members of VMC of KV1 and 2.
After a brief recap of the previous meeting , the first point of the agenda was:
ACADEMIC PROGRESS.
In this regard, Principal 1 announced that in KV1, classes will be conducted during winter break by all teachers - including those specially deputed by the regional office on our request. Further, Principal , KV 1 requested Chairman to write to KVS to allow continuance of contractual teachers for the next academic year as many of them are highly efficient.
Principal , KV 2, requested that weak learners from his Vidyalaya also be allowed to attend as most of his teachers were going for in service courses.
Principal , KV 1 sought permission to conduct residential study camp in January for class XII especially weak students. She reiterated that funds for food would be drawn from VVN. Chairman approved.

|
1. Request to Navy for excavated soil from MAPS – new construction site for land filling / leveling.
2. Request to MES for partial chiseling of rocky surface , construction of retaining wall and adding soil to create a suitable playground.

APPOINTMENT OF DOCTOR AND NURSE
Principal , K V No. 1, Vasco took up the appointment of a doctor and a nurse as per KVS’s instructions vide letter no. F . 110350/13/2011-KVS HQ, dated 04/11/2011/. The Chairman approved. As funds for the same may be insufficient, it was decided to seek supplementary funds from regional office.
The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by the host Principal,K V No. 2, Dr. V P Mishra.
