Science Club
A display board is maintained which has articles form the readers of science. The club also organized the visit of the mobile science exhibition for a week. All the children visited it. Special talks were given about various science specific topics in the morning assembly. For example rare astronomical events like the mars coming closest to the Earth was highlighted and awareness was generated among students.

Career Guidance and Counselling
Special Lectures on career guidance were organized every month to update the children's knowledge on career options. Prominent among the guest lectures were the ones by Sri Venkatesh Prabhy Desai on 'prospects in the filed of engineering ' and Sri. Alphanso Pererienre on food crafts and culinary sciences. Effective study habits, ways to increase concentration and effective time management were stressed. All these activities were guided by PGT(Bio) Mr M.Manika Samy who is the only trained counsellor by NCERT New Delhi available in this region.
PTA member Sadhana Syal is taking  initiative in giving counselling to the students. The first interaction took place in July with teaching faculty about how to create interest in the subjects and how to deal with problematic children. Session was continued with XII student separately section wise. A special guidance session was uphold for class VII on problems faced at home where parents were also present....Overall this is an ongoing process which will be continued in the coming months too.

Observations and Celebrations
We observed several important days to create awareness in young minds - Doctors' Day, Communal Harmony Day, International Day of Peace, International day of the disabled, Hindi Pakwada, National Science Day.

Facilities Added Campus Beautified
A beautiful rose garden with 280 plants has been developed with the help of Zuari Agro Chemicals India Ltd., several shade giving trees have also bee planted. A glow sign board now adorns the Vidyalaya. AV room now has an air conditioned and a collapsible gate.

Value Education
Adarsh Vidyarthi and Vidyarhini are identified from each class and awarded a badge and certificate. They serve as role models to others. They inspire the others in following the right path in day to day life. Outstanding class room display, cleanliness and discipline are also recognised and awarded.
